Froufrou: A Resilient Survivor Seeking Her Forever Home

We have yet to meet Froufrou in person. However, we learned her story and believe she deserves another chance. Let’s hope for the best this time.

Froufrou’s story is a cruel one, like most stray animals. Volunteers from Thessaloniki collect and neuter various strays in the neighbourhoods. Froufrou was one of them. He was spayed just before he was a year old, but after a while, he suffered a fractured pelvis, possibly from being kicked. He remained hospitalized for about 3 months and recovered. All this time, she never complained for a moment; she was quiet and cooperative. During her hospitalization/hospitality at the volunteers’ place, burglars entered. Luckily, they didn’t bother her, but she was pretty terrified. She tested positive for FIV. Her story would end somewhere here since a family adopted her a year ago.

Froufrou was kicked, she was locked in a cage for months, and she experienced a burglary. But this part of her story is the worst: the family that adopted her no longer wants her. Obviously, he won’t be back on the road. She is looking for her forever family.

Froufrou is about 2.5 years old, spayed and vaccinated. She is also FIV-positive, so it is recommended that she live alone or with other FIV-positive cats. She is perfect, cuddly and has endured a lot. It is in Thessaloniki, but we will find a way to take it anywhere.
