This initiative proposes a unique concept called “Cat Cafés” to improve the lives of stray cats in urban neighbourhoods. These cafés are not cafés for people in the traditional sense (places to buy & drink coffee and cuddle cats). Instead, they are designated public areas specifically designed for the well-being of stray cats.

Why Cat Cafés?

Given the sheer number of stray cats, traditional shelters can’t accommodate them all. Cat Cafés offer an alternative solution by providing food, water, and essential oversight for these felines within their existing environment. This initiative aims to improve the lives of strays while fostering a sense of community and responsibility towards them among local residents.

These improvements act as a conversation starter, raising awareness about the lives of stray cats in the city and fostering a sense of community.
