Elsa and Anna: A Tale of Friendship and Hope in Search of a Forever Home
Article by Manolis Vorrisis
This cat story looks like it was taken from a children’s story, the Life of Elsa and Anna. Even though they were each in a different place at a different time, situations brought them together. They grow up together, from hospitality to hospitality, and the only thing they have in common is each other. They have already moved to three different accommodation areas, and the time has come for them to find their forever home.

About Elsa
Elsa was found at the end of September 2021, at the age of 3 months, wandering between cafes in Pagrati. A group of friends collected her in a paper box so that she would not be endangered by passing cars, and since then, she has been temporarily hosted in Athens. She has already visited the vet once, been dewormed, and is scheduled to be spayed soon.
Elsa is very calm, tender, and loving. She gets very attached to the person who takes care of her. She is very beautiful, and when she feels safe in a new environment, she shows confidence and accepts tenderness and caresses from her new caregivers.
About Anna
Anna, 1.5 months old, was found in mid-October 2021 under a car in the area of Zografou. He was meowing persistently for help. Volunteers rushed to the scene, placed a cat trap and a special net around the car, and the next day, early in the morning, the kitten was caught. She has since been temporarily housed in Athens. She has visited the vet once and is scheduled to be spayed soon.
Anna is very lively. She always makes mischief, likes to have her belly stroked, and needs the human presence that claims her with her meows. She is very attached to Elsa, the other cat who is temporarily staying with her and calms down next to her. In a new environment, she feels afraid at first and hides until she feels trust and is let go. Then, she dominates the space and floods it with her tantrums and meows.
Elsa and Anna are like siblings from different parents: they look alike but have entirely different characters that complement each other. Dual adoption would be ideal, but it is understood that this is optional.
